How do I scan my screenshots?
Open SCREENBot and tap the Scan button on the home screen. The app will access your Screenshots album and process up to 50 images per scan. Tap "Scan Next 50" to continue through your library.
Why does SCREENBot need access to my Photos?
SCREENBot reads your Screenshots album to classify and extract metadata from your saved images. Images are sent to our processing API solely for classification and are not retained after processing.
What is the free tier limit?
Free tier users can perform 3 scans per month. Upgrading to SCREENBot Pro unlocks unlimited scans and all action buttons.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
Tap the Pro upgrade prompt within the app, or access it via the gear menu. Choose monthly ($4.99/mo) or annual ($39.99/yr). All purchases are processed securely through Apple.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
Open SCREENBot, navigate to the upgrade screen, and tap "Restore Purchases." Your Pro subscription will be restored using your Apple ID.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone to cancel or manage your SCREENBot Pro subscription.
My screenshots aren't being classified correctly. What should I do?
Classification accuracy is best with screenshots containing clear text or recognizable logos. If a screenshot lands in the wrong folder, tap the item to open the full view. From there you have three options at the bottom of the screen: Edit Info to update the extracted metadata, Share to send the screenshot via the standard iOS share sheet, or Move to Other to file it in the Other folder. If issues persist, contact us with details and we'll investigate.
What is the Other folder?
The Other folder serves two purposes. First, it automatically receives any screenshot SCREENBot couldn't confidently classify — typically visual-only images with no readable text, memes, wallpapers, or unrecognized layouts. Second, it's the destination for screenshots that don't fit any current category. For example, if you save a photo and there's no Photo category yet, use Move to Other or Share to route it out of your active results. New categories will be added in future updates.
How do I manually sort or move a screenshot?
Tap any result card to open the full view. At the bottom of the screen you'll find three action buttons: Edit Info lets you correct the extracted title, artist, or other metadata; Share opens the iOS share sheet so you can send the original file to another app; and Move to Other files the item in the Other folder. Use Share to move content off-app entirely — for example, saving a photo to your Camera Roll or sending a job listing to Notes.
